I’ve been part of more quantitatively-selected groups talent-wise (e.g. for national scholarships awarded on academic merit) and I’ve never met anyone like him.

But are you sure the way in which he is unique among people you’ve met is mostly about intelligence rather than intelligence along with other traits?
