I think the area of disagreement we have is that you see it as unrelated and therefore clickbait-y, and I see it as very effectively pointing to the theme of the conversation and therefore not clickbait-y.

I expect that if you were to identify a case of someone using the memetic weapon, and then ask the person who used it if they thought the phrase which spurred them to use it should be blacklisted, they would often say yes.
