I’m confused by your comment. The main remark Marius was making was that he found one skeptical claim (that which he attributes to “Reform Rabbis”) as not likely. I don’t see how that connects with your remark which seems to only make sense if Marius had been arguing with religious individuals who were using the claimed miracle of Chanukah as evidence for their religion.
