UFOs are not necessarily alien spaceships, therefore any perceived improbability of alien spaceships doesn’t mean that non-spaceship explanations of UFOs are improbable. E.g. the “military plane” explanation is also common. However neither the “military plane” or “alien spacecraft” hypotheses fully explain the data.
