I really don’t see this; it’s taken as a sign of weakness (which is terrible enough), but who actually thinks it’s wrong, even in the same twisted way as, oh, homosexuality, or disrespecting authority? (Operationally—who would condemn it using specifically moral language?) Then again, maybe there isn’t much distinction between these two perceptions.
