Your initial posts were well-received because you pointed out a potential problem, LW’s high bounce rate, and even created some nice graphs. But when a consensus started to emerge that reducing the bounce rate would actually be a net negative, instead of accepting this or refuting it, you made a long series of posts mostly reiterating the same unconvincing points. Doing that will result in a poor reception.
Weird that you interpreted it that way. I thought I was working on solving the problem. This post would be an exception. I had a mind kill reaction surrounding “elitism” and, like 20% of the people who took my poll, was trying to decide whether or not I should quit LessWrong.
