Calling it “telepathy” is definitely wrong. I’m not sure what it should be called, but definitely not that. The word already has too many different connotations.
I define telepathy as “mind-only communication between two or more individuals.” This appears to be that.
Well the ‘two or more individuals’ part might be up for debate.
Given that the brains are physically connected, I don’t think the prefix “tele” is justified.
