  I extrapolate faster, because experts were wrong about AGI “after 2050” and they were wrong about predicting explosive growth of Bitcoin. In general they are usually too conservative, so odds are experts will be wrong about quantum supremacy as well.

  The funniest thing is Elizer pretends not to understand that if humanity destroys GPU clusters it will be only matter of time until someone develops them again (in secret if needed). Maybe it will take a few generations, but you can’t stop evolution of technology.
