To count as a “digital intelligence,” an artificial agent must have at least a human-level general capacity to achieve its goals in a wide range of environments, including novel ones.
Yuck. There’s nothing special about “human-level” that merits the use of such terminology. IMHO, “digital intelligence” should mean what it says, and no more.
