In the previous reading group you mentioned that you hoped to provide opposing viewpoints whenever possible. That was actually the part I was most looking forward to. Does anybody know of opposing viewpoints to anything in this sequence?
Much of the sequence focused on Daniel Dennett’s “beliefs in belief” criticism of religion. I presume there is some rebuttals by theologians in the literature, and I was hoping to find a well written critique of Dennett’s book. I just didn’t have time to review the literature before the self-imposed Wednesday deadline, and planned on adding it in later. If someone else knows a good opposing viewpoint, I’ll incorporate into the OP.
