I would experiment with that in the following ways:
Try not doing any projects and see how that is (This seems good for what Zvi / Ben describe as an emergency check / Sabbath as alarm.)
When you feel like working on a project, do so but periodically check “Do I still feel good about doing this right now? Is this yummy? Do I want to be doing this?” Do the check and then follow what seems good in the moment.
