Do, however, try not to conflate LessWrong with “rationality.” Rationality is a method of approaching cognitive algorithms. LessWrong is a community that happens to focus on these methods a lot. Conflating them is like conflating the Democratic party with socialism (to choose a flippant, possibly ill-advised example). It makes a caricature of the former and diminishes the latter.
What does? If there’s a better way, we’d love to hear it. That’s not sarcasm. It’s the only thing of interest around here.
