While humorous, this is actually a specious argument. We can agree to call light between 450–495 nm “blue” and light between 620–750 nm “red” and in fact most of us do. The real question is whether, despite our labels, we feel the experience of those wavelengths quite differently, in ways we can’t adequately express via language.
