Also, your figure only reflects electricity generation, not total energy consumption which is a much higher figure.
From what I remember, transportation’s responsible for about a third of CO2 emissions, a bit less than electricity generation. (Various other sources make up the remaining third, most not involving direct energy consumption.) I’m not sure exactly how that translates to energy consumption, but given the economies of scale involved, I suspect the power grid would end up dominating total energy consumption.
