I’ve been using it for something like a week and am finding it moderately useful. Its two big advantages are that it hijacks my pathological desire to watch my numbers go up, and the near-complete lack of customization. (When using a calendar, I have to think of when the task is due. When using beeminder, I have to think about how frequently I’ll be doing the task. With this, for any possible task, there are no fiddly bits to get in the way of just shutting up and putting it in the list.) The drawbacks are the weak enforcement and the near-complete lack of customization.
