Is there a way to “sticky” a post on Google Groups? For example, if I want to (privately, for now) track local meetup attendees and topics for X period of time, and I want to sticky a post for the entire duration just in case anyone wants to retain anonymity or plausible deniability or whatever.
Apparently only the group owner(s?) can do that. On a side note, “Display at the top”, while easy to understand, was not anywhere close to a phrase I was looking for, and I definitely skipped right over it at least once.

I believe so. If you look at https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/brain-training you can see my FAQ is stickied.

Why should anyone but the group owners be permitted to do it?
You didn’t actually say how to do it, only that it was possible. So I searched again with confidence, and that’s what I found out.
