Daniel: philosophers are not all wrong about everything but between them they seem to support every theory that a reasonable person could hold and many more, so they aren’t very useful as a guide as to what to believe. In principle their arguments could still be useful, but in practice I am not impressed by, for example, the arguments against moral skepticism, nor do I find that the arguments for it add anything particularly useful to my knowledge that I could not think of myself.
