I wouldn’t call that a double reference since Alfred Bester the Babylon 5 character is also named after Alfred Bester the author). Edit: Both the Bab 5 and HP:MoR characters are named after Bester the author for the same reason.
Since Eliezer has been a Babylon 5 fan since before December 1996 and has also read Bester’s books, I think we can consider it a double reference.
