Less confidently, LW’s analytic linguistic approach would not be possible without the forerunning work of Wittgenstein, and mocking him is basically exactly the wrongly way round.
Marx did have a large influence on the intellectual framework of economics. That doesn’t mean that it’s a bad idea to mock him. Just because someone did some valid work doesn’t mean that all of his ideas are correct.
