Universality over the long run seems to me more like ‘donating’ or ‘investing’ or… in Triumphs of Experience, this gets called “guardianship” vs. “hoarding,” but I think that’s still framing both in long-term terms, and it’s not obvious that “guardianship” means “developing a community using your resources” (the intended meaning) rather than “protecting things.”
