There were 6 of us, the debate was interesting enough.
Those 6 are divided into about three schools, at least.
A—the pro-MIRI line. Follow the big thinkers who dominate here around. Friendliness is just crucial.
B—the biology and environment concerned line, political left wing, more or less.
C—we have the AI aerodynamics already with the Levin’s search and Hutter’s paper—at least. So shut up and implement! It’s a bloody shame we don’t fly already!
Too bad I only saw this now. I’d be interested in future ones.
