If you test positive but are yet to be symptomatic, but you are in a high risk group and expect to be, then could getting an immediate booster be beneficial? What’s the intuition here for how this works? Maybe something like, it would normally take a few days for your immune system to kick into high gear, but the vaccine gets it going within 24 hours?
