How can you define expected life satisfaction in a universe with infinitely-many agents of varying life-satisfaction? Specifically, given a description of such a universe (in whatever form you’d like, as long as it is general enough to capture any universe we may wish to consider), how would you go about actually doing the computation?
Alternatively, how do you think that computing “expected life satisfaction” can avoid the acknowledged problems of computing “average life satisfaction”, in general terms?
