Reduction in measure seems about as bad as dying in non-multiverse scenarios; every (information-theoretic) death permanently shuts you out of huge regions of the multiverse, and causes googleplexs of your friends and family members great emotional distress.
Plus, things are only guaranteed to happen in the multiverse if they can happen, and you don’t necessarily know what can happen...
