IF acquiring a new belief, THEN try to destroy it immediately. An example from yesterday: “wow, these TRX suspension trainer look really cool, they would allow me to do better pull-ups”, following immediately by “I should read negative reviews of TRX right now.”
TAP’s (Trigger Action Plans) have become increasingly ubiquitous in the LW consciousness (my impression).
Does anybody have some cool TAP’s they’d like to share? Should we have a depository of good ones?
I’ve set up a few:
IF back hurts, THEN adjust posture (right now, that’s mostly focusing on the angle of my hands as they swing and the angle of my spine to my hips)
IF notice procrastination/have the “I should really do XYZ....” feeling, THEN take five mindful breaths.

If organising some event, put it in my diary now. (if people say, “we should catch up”)
When I get home I put my laptop on my desk and plug it in.
