What I thought of when reading this was the idea that the best way to learn Occam’s razor is to get born with the right genes, because if you think unlikely things are better beliefs you’re already screwed. The analogous “hope you got born right” approach wouldn’t care about proving P, but instead wants to prove that the new system and the old system prove the same things.
