I mean REALLY?” It’s more like, “Under what circumstances is our brain even consciously thinking about what we’re doing, and under what circumstances are we just operating out of habit?” You don’t have to have an opinion on the metaphysics of the thing to have an opinion on the physical reality and physical question: do we think in a self-aware way about most things, or not?
