Agreed, but unless a bunch of other things that have been there for ages get removed it’s never going to take much effort to do. (E.g., Scott might want to look for ways to make typing in his real name not produce the top Google result that it currently does.)
Raikoth.net only links to his old blog. AFAICT none of the results in the first page allow someone who doesn’t already know where his new blog is to find it in less than five minutes, and he isn’t trying to make it impossible, only inconvenient.
(Edit: OTOH raikoth.net does show his new pen name, and someone might google it, but I don’t think it’d occur to Aunt Tillie to do so.)
