I don’t want my kids (19, 17, and 15) to waist their time like I did, how do I teach them about this new world of critical thinking and data?
My suggestion is to use critical thinking and data to illuminate something else they’re already interested in. Rather than looking at data as a standalone activity separate from other things, you might analyze (for example) baseball statistics if one of your kids has an interest in baseball. This may be easier said than done...
