I downvoted for this line alone.

I find “don’t downvote me” mildly bad. But I find “I downvoted you for saying ‘don’t downvote me’” to be worse.

  Then I hope you and people like you vote accordingly! The Opening Post is more or less form letter and we don’t need to vote them up just because we want to prove how counter-cultish we are.
