This post is my personal catnip, thank you. I do wonder how much of the trend in seasonal color changes are influenced by particular combinations rather than X or Y color becoming in trend? For example, in at least two of the hot-pink images you’ve provided it has been paired with olive green; or at least that’s what I call it based on how it appears on my uncalibrated monitor. What I’m wondering is how common is it for certain pairs or trios of colors to rise together or for their complement to shift seasonally.
