I’m so over getting super fascinated by someone and thinking they’re the sun and moon then talking to them more and realise they’re just human like the rest of us...agh. I’m so bad with romance haha. I don’t know how to stop idealising people who seem like perfect matches at the time, but then as I talk to them I realise their just a regular person. What can I do about this?
Having a healthy relationship is about relating to another human being and not about relating to a mental ideal. If you idealize them at the beginning that’s okay. It’s typical human behavior.
You also don’t have to have to commit to have a relationship for life to have a valuable relationship.

Value regular people?
