Could someone explain what is meant with “counterfactual people”?
People who would not have otherwise gone to CFAR, without a meetup. (I think last time this came up someone pointed out the correct term is something like “counterfactually valid.” I’m not actually sure what the best jargon here is)

‘marginal’?
I think the phrase “marginal people” is distracting in something a bit like the way “counterfactual people” is.
Thanks, this makes sense
