We really have no way of knowing the overall costs of commercial power from LENR, but I would guess it would be no more than fission at the highest and slightly lower than coal at the cheapest.
“Overall costs” cannot easily be measured in dollars. If the CF process doesn’t create any of the byproducts of coal or fission, it would be radically cheaper.
