Personally, I think the “Lisa Simpson Happiness Theory” (negative correlation between happiness and intelligence) arises from the mistaken tendency of intelligent people to assume that their “shoulds” exist in the “territory” (and not just in their own map) . . .
Is that the same as the “Charlie Gordon Happiness Theory”, where intelligence leads to arrogance as well as other people not knowing what you’re talking about, which both lead to alienation, leading to being unhappy?
