I feel as though this cobbled-together essay from ’03 has a lot of untapped potential.

I think most thoughts could probably not be represented externally. It definitely seems useful but “How to Make a Complete Map of Every Thought You Think” sounds like an exaggeration.

Statements of the “obvious” contribute plenty to the conversation. Putting the silent consensus into words is useful. Condescending snark is not.
