This seems very interesting, maybe someone can look into this in depth. The costs are much more manageable and there are hopefully fewer legal issues with preserving brain only. Not sure why they only talk about “next of kin”. Anyway, “chemical preservation” of the brain only for $2500 seems like an interesting alternative to Alcor or CI. It is also more likely to go over better in an argument with people reluctant to opt for the “traditional” cryonics, such as parents of some of the regulars complaining about it.

Embalm the entire body, paying special attention to the brain. Use arterial fluid on the brain rather than cavity fluid. If 10% Neutral Buffered Formalin is readily available, that is preferred for the brain. Wait one hour and then pump more fluid through the brain again. Since the body will never be displayed at a funeral service, there is no need to perform any cosmetic procedures at all. Those would simply delay shipment.
