While indeed there are extroverts for whom what you say about zombieness is true, I’m making a general claim that everyone has a good deal of neural circuitry (you can call it persona or masks if you like) that only expresses itself in the presence of others. Whether or not you want to identify this as “what you are” is up to you. For what it’s worth I think you’ve made the right choice.
Nevertheless, it’s useful to optimize the social circuitry and that’s can only really be done while in social situations. That’s all I’m saying.
