At the risk of sounding cynical, “we’re” not past premeditated acquaintance rape (the most common kind of rape), the gender pay gap and glass ceiling in employment, gender-essentialist stereotyping, domestic violence with a significant gender skew, and transphobia...
So why would “we” be past sexism?
