Admittedly there is much more competition today for platforms, but given that almost every major platform deplatformed Trump, I think the current situation is in some ways analogous to every newspaper in the US stopping interviewing the president 20 years ago.
One point that stuck out to me in the post was that Twitter is only used by 22% of Americans, therefor it’s not a monopoly.
22% is pretty close to the number of Americans who read newspapers just 20 years ago.
