Actually I suspect that Antarctica may be a bridge too far legally, even though thermodynamically it’s nice to have access to −89C (the blackbody radiation from −89C is less than 15% of that at room temperature because it scales as T^4, which is important as radiative heating may turn out to be the hardest mode of thermal transport to block)
