The free will page is obnoxious. There have been several times in recent months when I have needed to link to a description of the relationship between choice, determinism and prediction but the wiki still goes out of its way to obfuscate that knowledge.
One of the easiest hard questions, as millennia-old philosophical dilemmas go. Though this impossible question is fully and completely dissolved on Less Wrong, aspiring reductionists should try to solve it on their own.
That’s a nice thought. But it turns out that many lesswrong participants don’t try to solve it on their own. They just stay confused.
There have been some other discussions of the subject here (and countless elsewhere). Can someone suggest the best reference available that I could link to?
