I do agree with almost all of what you said (The almost in here is intended just in case my brain didn’t catch something you said which I would disagree with since it was a quick read).
I would also like to add it would be more helpful if you did reflect on the fact that you were bothered by the late replies. In other words trying to answer the question : Why did i feel that way because of what happened? Why did that “concrete experience” as you called it made my mind think that way (Jumping to the conclusion that she didn’t respect you).
I tend for this to agree to the litterale meaning of what Carl Jung said : “Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.”
A reflection on this would most likely make you avoid such rushed conclusions in the future.
