Another problem is that there isn’t really any standard “rationality test” or other ability to actually determine how rational someone is, though some limited steps have been taken in that direction. Stanovich is working on one, but it can’t be expected for 3+ years at this stage.
This obviously limits the extent to which we can determine whether rationalists “actually win” (my impression, incidentally, is that they do but that there are a lot of skills that help more than current “rationality training” for the average person), what forms of rationality practice yield the most benefits, and so on.
