To me, this post seems perhaps better-suited for the Discussion section. It’s too long to be a comment but doesn’t really strike me as necessarily meriting an independent mainpage post.
The post she is replying to is a Main post (featured, nonetheless). Do you think it should be converted into a discussion post?
I just read both posts and I feel as though they did an equal amount to enlighten me in the nature of Fun. I don’t see any good reason to privilege the visibility of one over the other.
Caveat: I am completely indifferent as to where this post goes.

Eliezer’s OvercomingBias contributions were taken as the seed posts for lesswrong years before ‘Discussion’ was in place. Taking one of the original posts and putting it in discussion would just be disruptive to the timeline.
Leaving the OB posts be isn’t a moral judgement that Eliezer’s off the cuff declarations of what is fun are better than Alicorns.
Heck, the style and tone are completely different. Alicorn really is just discussing Eliezer’s post and writing things like “Aaaargh”.
I don’t feel that the original post should be converted into a Discussion section post; I believe it should be privileged because it stands alone, while this post does not.
In general, I consider posting lengthy replies to Main section posts as their own Main section posts quite undesirable. Consider what LessWrong might look like if this became a common practice—original Main section posts would be outnumbered by lengthy replies to them, making it difficult for new and interesting conversations to start.
