Sometimes it can be fun to discover things for yourself, but I’d get irritated if I had to figure out everything for myself, much like I’d be irritated if I had to farm and cook and build for myself all the time. There may be a balance to be had, but I think it should be defined by desires. Perhaps I would actually have more fun trying to solve a problem than just having the answer told to me, but I can guarantee you that I would be very irritated if I was forced into spending time solving a problem I didn’t want to solve; I value my freedom.
