I think the thing Harris should change his mind about is the simplicity of “well-being of conscious creatures is all that matters.” We might care about other things, value extrapolation is needed and might surprise us, blah blah blah. I also don’t like the way he frames the issue of defining morality; I’d prefer he talk more like this. But that’s more of a semantic quibble.
