I also feel like the governance model of the org and culture of mission alignment with increasing safety is important, in addition to the exact nature of the business and business model at the time the startup is founded. Looking at your examples, perhaps by “business model” you are referring both to what brings money in but also the overall governance/decision-making model of the organization?
