Hello. Do people here generally take anthropic principle as strong evidence against positive singularity? If we take it that in the future it would be good to have many, happy people, like, using most matter available to make sure that this happens, we’d get really many happy people. However, we are not any one of those happy people. We’re living in pre-singularity times, and this seems to be strong evidence that we’re going to face a negative singularity.

The simulation argument muddles the issue from my perspective. There’s more to weigh than just the anthropic principle.
