I’d say you should assign a very high probability for your beliefs being aligned in the direction LessWrong’s are, even in cases where such beliefs are wrong. It’s just how the human brain and human society works; there’s no getting around it. However, how much of that alignment is due to self-selection bias (choosing to be a part of LessWrong because you are that type of person) or brainwashing is a more difficult question.
